Ron walked down to a beech tree by the lake and sat up against it. Every once in awhile he would see parts of the great octopus swim up, but then go back down into the murky water. He was practicing some spells, when Hermione Granger walked up.
"Ron, are you still mad about the whole Great Hall mess?"Hermione said, sitting down beside him. "Because its no use hating Harry for that, it wasnt his fault. And you have to calm down a bit."she said, hoping she didnt upset him.
"Calm down a bit? Calm down a bit!? Do you know how hard it is to watch Ginny throw herself all over Harry? Mum would have a fit if it was any other guy, but since its Harry, well, you know the story."Ron said pouting. He threw a rock into the lake.
"Well, you will leave them alone, right? I mean, you cant pester them."Hermione said cautiously.
"If they will stop rubbing it in under my nose. That thing in the Great Hall was so, Im not even finishing that. Look, Hermione, who's side are you on?"Ron turned on her, looking at her kin of pitifully.
"Im not on anyone's side. I agree, the ordeal in the Great Hall was not appropriate, and we lost tons of hosue points, which I might add if you had kept your temper it would have only been 10, but, on the other hand, you need to accept it, Ron."Hermione said as nicely as she could.
"Fine. Fine, but that was horrible,I think I'll be scarred for life!"he joked as he ruffled Hermione's hair. "When did you get so smart?"he joked and looked back at the lake.
"Ron!"she said, trying to fix her pushy hair again.
